My Story
My name is Chingwell Mutombu. I am an entrepreneur, a storyteller, a photographer, a globe trotter and the founder of In Her Essence, a portrait photography business based in the East Bay. I have been practicing the art of photography for more than a decade. I decided to turn this hobby into a business two years ago. My aim in life has always been to bring beauty into focus and let the essence of that beauty shine. As a photographer, I love helping people express themselves and tell their stories through images, let their essence shine, and be seen exactly as they are, beauty incarnated.
